Weights and graphite will be available for last-minute adjustments; however, cars should be as close as possible to the 5-ounce maximum weight when Scouts arrive.

Recharter Fees

Recharter Fees – November

Membership fees for returning Scouts will be due by Nov. 30; PayPal invoices will be sent out to families in early November. Recharter does not affect Scouts who joined Pack 102 this fall; those Scouts already have membership through December 2018.

Recharter fees are:

  • $70 for returning Wolves and Bears (those who joined prior to Fall 2017). This covers Boy Scouts of America (BSA) membership, Pack 102 membership, and insurance through December 2018.
  • $100 for Webelos I. This covers BSA membership, Pack 102 membership, and insurance through February 2019. This is the final recharter fee for this group of Pack 102 Scouts.
  • No cost for Webelos II. Fees through February 2018 were collected last year.
  • Please note that the BSA has raised the national dues for membership in 2018. However, because of the generous support from our families, Pack 102 is able to absorb this increase for the coming year. Finally, to successfully recharter, our pack leadership must have current leader-specific and Youth Protection training. All leaders should ensure they are up to date and complete online training as needed.

Cub Scout 500

Pack 102 Annual Cub Scout 500 Race

Friday, Nov. 17 / 6:30-8 p.m.

Olmsted Community Center

What kid doesn’t love a cardboard box? Pack 102 takes that to the next level with its annual Cub Scout 500 race. Scouts decorate a cardboard box and then wear it as they race on foot around a track. Scouts race by age level. Scouts also will vote on the “Most Awesome” cars. In addition, Pinewood Derby car kits will be distributed the night of the Cub Scout 500 race. Leaders, please arrive at 6 p.m. to help set up.

Yard Charge

Service Opportunity: Yard Charge

Saturday, Nov. 11 / 8:30 a.m.

Meet in front of Falls-Lenox

Service is a meaningful and essential part of Scouting, and every Scout is expected to contribute to our community. Our fall service opportunity is Yard Charge, where Scouts and their families spend the morning helping those who are less able by raking leaves and other debris from their yards. This project will be followed by a lunch. Please dress appropriately and bring gloves, rakes, tarps, etc. Blowers are a big help, if you are able to bring one. Meet in front of Falls-Lenox, and we will divide into groups that will each be assigned several yards to rake.
